Pokemon LeafGreen Secrets
Ditto Breeding
You don't need to find one pokemon of
each gender in order to breed them. You simply have to put your pokemon of choice and a ditto into the daycare center. After
a short while, the old man will tell you that they found an egg, and when it hatches, it will be whichever pokemon you matched
up with Ditto
Determining Pokemon's feelings
towards you.
When you use an item on one of your Pokemon
outside of a battle, such as a Potion, the Pokemon will either move closer or away from you in the short intermission sequence.
How far the Pokemon moves depends on how much it likes you. If it does not move at all, it feels neutral.
Free Coins
In the Gamecorner in Celadon City, go
talk to the man at the far right Slots. He will give you 20 free coins. Talk to the man on the slots beside him. He will give
you 20 free coins, also. Go to the left side of the Gamecorner. Talk to the guy that looks like a fisherman, and he will give
you 10 free coins.
Free Nest Balls
There's a woman that lives along the
Water Path that's looking for a Heracross. If you catch one and bring it to her, she'll measure it and give you a Nest Ball
as a reward. Each time you bring her a taller Heracross, she'll give you another Nest Ball.
Loose change in Game Corner
Apparently, the folks in the Game Corner
don't hold on to their coins very well! By using the Itemfinder or looking by yourself, you'll find that many spots in
the Game Corner have some number of coins lying on them. If you find them all, you'll find 200+ coins!
Easy money
On Island 5, there is an area to the
northeast called Gorgeous Resort. There are 2 wealthy trainers you can face. They are named Lady Jacki and Lady Gillian. Lady
Jacki gives you $10000 if you beat her($20000 with Amulet Coin) and Lady Gillian gives you $9800($19600 with Amulet Coin).
The pokemon they use also carry expensive items. Jacki's 2 pokemon carry Stardust, Gillian's 2 Mareep have Stardust, and Gillian's
Flaafy has a Nugget. Just use Thief or Covet to obtain these items.
Pokemon LeafGreen Glitches
Saving Time in the Safari
Zone
When you are in the Safari Zone, it counts
the number of steps you take to determine the amount of time you have left. Well, if you want to catch a rare Pokémon,
but don't want to run out of time, enter the grass, then lightly tap the directional pad. You will change the way you are
facing, but it will not count as a step. You can have near-infinite time in the Safari Zone doing this. It is helpful when
some Pokémon, such as Chansey, appear in only one section of the Zone.

Pokemon Sapphire Version
Hint: Open Regirock/Registeel/Regice Lair
NOTE: You need a Relicanth and a Wailord on your team.
At the sealed chamber midway between
Pacifidlog and Slateport (accessible only from Pacifidlog) use Dive to enter a tunnel that leads to a slab with braille. Surface
there and enter the sealed chamber.
The next step is to go to the back of that room and use Dig on the space where
you see braille in the back of the room to open up the next area.
Go to the rear part of the second room and read
the inscriptions. It says you must have a Relicanth in the lead slot and a Wailord in the last slot (of your Pokemon line-up).
You will then open up the entrances to each lair.

Unlockable: Exclusive Pokemon: Kyogre
The Sapphire version allows you to catch the ancient Pokemon Kyogre. It's only available in Sapphire,
and you only face it once... in the Cave of Origin in Sootopolis City. Save your Master Ball so you'll be sure to capture
it at this encounter.
Once you become the Pokemon League Champion, pay extra attention to the TV. It will broadcast information
about a super-rare Pokemon. After that, be on the lookout for the Latias, which is exclusive to the Sapphire version of the
game.
Head down to Pacificlog Town. Go into the house that has a girl beside it. Once you are in, talk to the
woman in the back. It you have a Bellossom and you want to get rid of it, you can trade it to her for a Corsola.

First, be sure to have a Pokemon who knows Rock Smash. Go to Dewford Town to the Granite Cave and smash

- Make sure you have a extra slot in your party.
- Also, you must have some Pokeballs if you have any.
- Raise your Nincada to Level 20, it will evolve into a Ninjask.

Ralts (the Pokemon Wally has as a starter) is a good pokemon to have in your party through out your entire
game. If you want to get it at the start of your game, go to route 102 (outside of Petalburg City) and check in the small
pile of grass.
At the start of the game, it is pretty hard to find Ralts unless your Pokemon really likes you, which
is almost impossible. Just be patient, and you'll find Ralts. He/She evolves into Kirlia, then into Gardevoir.

Hint: Bring My Fossil to Life
Go to the sandstorm in Route 111 and go all the way up and all the way to the right. There you will find
two fossils--The Claw Fossil and the Root Fossil--and you'll need to pick one. Then go to the President's office in Rustboro
City. Enter the room with lots of scientists and talk to the one in the lower right hand corner. Next, exit the building and
walk around for about 30 seconds. Go back in, talk to the same scientist that you talked to the first time and you will have
the Pokémon from the fossil.
